Dmitry Pevtsov appeared at the Window to Europe film festival in a new image, Sobesednik.ru learned.

When Dmitry Pevtsov arrived in Vyborg for the Window to Europe film festival, many did not recognize him. The actor grew a thick beard. At a meeting with reporters, Dmitry indulged in nostalgia.

— In 1984, 32 years ago, I worked as a stuntman in the Soviet-Norwegian film “And Trees Grow on Stones.” This film was the first in my filmography. And I was so pleased that those two boats, or their exact copies, that were filmed in the film, thanks to the efforts of the outstanding film director Stanislav Rostotsky, still stand on the shore of the pond in the center of Vyborg. And that’s why I can’t help but go and walk around the places where those filming took place. And in general, I like the festival; I have never seen a crowded hall during a screening of Russian cinema in any provincial city.

Then Dmitry performed several songs from the repertoire of Alexander Vertinsky, accompanied by the musical group “Cartouche”. The next day, Pevtsov went for a walk and did not even come to the press conference dedicated to the film Once Upon a Time by Anna Chernakova and Alexander Adabashyan, where he played the role of a strange character from the past who found himself in our time. However, perhaps this frivolity is for the best. Film critics and film journalists poured such a bucket of dirt on the picture that Mikhail Zhigalov, an actor from the Sovremennik Theater who was present at the meeting with journalists, felt sick. And Adabashyan burst into abuse at the critics: they say, you need to watch the film to the end, and then draw conclusions.
