Popular blogger and openly gay Sergei Grigoriev-Appolonov, known as Gray Wiese, spoke about his experience of domestic violence and supported people who are now facing similar experiences. He urged people not to tolerate abuse and to “choose yourself.”
“I want to say to everyone who suffers domestic violence: never allow anyone to bully you, no matter how beautiful it is presented to you,” he wrote in Threads.
According to the blogger, for the last three months he has woken up every morning “happy and joyful.” At the same time, the fear that he associates with the violence he experienced has not yet disappeared completely, but is becoming weaker every day.

“There is still fear, but every day there is more freedom and less fear. And one day you understand: life without constant fear is a normal life. Don't be patient. Choose yourself,” added Gray Wiese.
In the comments, one of the subscribers mentioned that in the past “Andrey tried in every possible way to control [the blogger’s] movements, rest, leisure and nutrition.” Gray Wiese replied that he “hid all this” because for a long time he considered such relationships to be the norm.
Sergei Grigoriev-Appolonov is the nephew of Andrei Grigoriev-Appolonov, a member of the group “Ivanushki International” (the redhead from “Ivanushki”). Under the pseudonym Gray Wiese, he runs a lifestyle blog and releases music.
