Last Tuesday, the annual award ceremony for the winners of the “Golden Fund of the Voronezh Region” award took place in the building of the Voronezh Drama Theater named after Koltsov. For the first time, the nomination “Civil Service” was introduced into the Golden Fund, awarded to Metropolitan Methodius of Voronezh and Lipetsk. Among the laureates are Governor Vladimir Kulakov (in the nomination “Politics”), chief director of the Voronezh puppet theater “Jester” Valery Volkhovsky and actress of the Koltsov Theater Rimma Manukovskaya (“Culture and Art”), Chief Physician of the Clinical sanatorium named after Gorky Vyacheslav Borisov, professor of the Department of History of Journalism at VSU Georgy Antyukhin ("Media") Continuation of the topic - in the "New-menu".
At a meeting of the City Duma, the issue “On the transfer of objects into the ownership of the Voronezh region” was considered. We are talking about the same 130 buildings and premises that were proposed to be given to the region to pay off the city’s debt to it in the amount of 700 million rubles. Vice-Governor Sergei Naumov took part in the meeting, and he also made an attempt to convince the deputies to reconsider the previously made decision and finally give permission for the transfer of property. Otherwise, according to the vice-governor, the city will only receive money to pay state employees and pay for heat. Both the City Duma and the city administration will be left without funding. The deputies agreed to look for a compromise option with the exclusion of obviously “impassable” objects from it. Hotels, pharmacies, and creative workshops may turn out to be "pass-through" areas. The final decision will be made by deputies during the next meeting of the City Duma.
Today the New Year tree and all festive attractions from the main square of the city were finally removed. The crossing of all New Year's celebrations will be marked by the traditional worries of the townspeople about their daily bread. Tomorrow, a fair of agricultural products already beloved by Voronezh residents will open on Lenin Square. There should be an abundance of meat, chickens, eggs, cereals, butter and other products, which will be brought by villagers in 137 cars. Refrigerators that were empty during the holidays will again be replenished with cheaper than usual and fresh products.
