Estonia Bank prints money because of the fear of "Problems 2000"

The Bank of Estonia, in connection with the change in the millennium, doubles in circulation in circulation, Interfax reports.

The Bank of Estonia has already taken the necessary measures to increase cash. Since the March of this year, the destruction of banknotes has been temporarily discontinued. The Bank of Estonia ordered an additional batch of banknotes of 500 and 100 kroons. All this will double the cash in circulation.

About 50 million kroons have already been spent to ensure the solution to the “problem-2000” in Estonia’s banking system.
