The head of Mabetex admitted that he found documents in the case of Yeltsin's accounts

Bede Pacolly, the head of the Swiss company Mabetex, who found himself in the center of the scandal associated with Russia, the other day indirectly admitted that, perhaps, representatives of the prosecutor's office found in his office some documents related to Boris Yeltsin - he said this in an interview with the Swiss weekly L'Illustre.

When asked by the correspondent "How do you explain the presence of extracts from bank accounts belonging to the Yeltsin family in your premises?" Pakolly replied: "Perhaps, justice found some documents related to Boris Yeltsin. But this whole story has nothing to do with Mabetex. I am not responsible for all my employees or former employees."

The head of Mabetex does not expect that the Swiss prosecutor's office will be brought against him. As he noted, "Switzerland General Karl del Ponti clarified that there was nothing against me. None of my accounts are blocked. You must believe me. I am very frank. I am at your disposal all the documents of Mabetex."

As for the explanation about the accusations that are put forward against him in Russia, Pakolly said: "In a completely illegal way, the documents regarding Mabetex were transferred to Russia. They were given an incorrect assessment there. This is a manipulation."
