On December 1 at 19.00 Moscow time, Internet users will be able to take part in the first Internet conference of the former Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and now the leader of the Fatherland - All Russia bloc, Yevgeny Primakov.

The conference will take place in the MSNBC.com chat room , where online meetings with famous politicians, journalists and other “stars” are traditionally held. In particular, in September an online conference of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov was held here.

RIA "RosBusinessConsulting", announcing Primakov's Internet conference , stated that this action was being carried out by RBC "together with MSNBC." Meanwhile, the RBC website does not indicate where exactly this chat will be held and how to participate in it in real time: it is only suggested to leave your questions. You can’t even do this on Primakov’s website .

But both RBC and the “Internet representation of Primakov” are publishing a huge article by the former prime minister, in which, in fact, all the answers to the supposed questions have already been given. The word "Internet" appears only in the very last sentence of this article. And just like in the case of Yeltsin’s Internet conference , it is written in quotation marks (this word is not written in quotation marks anywhere else).

Meanwhile, the MSNBC website emphasizes that this Primakov Internet conference will be an exclusive MSNBC chat. It says nothing about RBC.

By the way, a similar “advertising” story happened with Luzhkov’s Internet conference in September: the Moscow mayor’s website said that “the event was organized with the assistance of MSNBC,” while it was simply held on MSNBC.com.
