The most open and the most closed
On April 5, the third annual ceremony of presenting “Golden Diplomas” of the Financial Press Club to the most “informationally open structures” took place at the Metropol Hotel. By such openness, the club understands the organization’s readiness to promptly and fully provide the media with the requested information, the absence of censorship on the part of the organization, the accessibility of top officials and the absence of attempts to manipulate journalists. In 1999, ARKO, Rosbank, ROSNO, MICEX and IFC Metropol were recognized as the most “informationally open”. Well, the most “informationally closed” are the Central Bank, the Trust and Investment Bank, Rosgosstrakh, the Moscow Stock Exchange and the investment company Troika-Dialog.
