Lithuania wants Russia to compensate for the damage caused by the Soviet occupation

Today, the Lithuanian Sejm adopted the law "On compensation for damage caused by the occupation of the USSR." The government, according to this law, is obliged to form a delegation for negotiations with Russia on this issue by September 1, to clarify the amount of damage until October 1, and to put forward the requirements for Russia until November 1, as well as inform about these requirements of the UN, the Council of Europe and the European Union.
