The names of the murderers of Imam Umar Idrisov are established. According to law enforcement agencies, he was shot by militants from the detachment of the field commander Magomed Tsagaraev. The military suggests that the killers aimed to free up a place for “their” man, since the clergy in Chechnya have a strong influence on the local population. However, most likely, the murder is associated with the recent appointment of Mufti Kadyrov by the head of the administration of the republic (Imam Imam Imamov was a supporter of Kadyrov), after which Chechnya was almost on the verge of the civil war, and the federal high-ranking military ranks just a few days after the appointment of a mufti without regret reported that the conflict in the republic could be delayed for one and a half to three years.
