Migration cards have been introduced in Primorye

In the Far East of Russia, the fight against illegal migration began. There, along with visas, special cards for foreigners are introduced. With the help of such cards, the goals of the arrival, route and the term of stay in Russia will be determined. Migration cards are already operating in the Khabarovsk Territory of the Chita region.

As soon as the necessary batch of cards is imprinted, they will be supplied with all sea, air and land checkpoints on which migration control posts operate. All the data of a foreign citizen crossing the border will be entered into the card, then this information will be received in the data bank, where it will be thoroughly verified. Every year, about 15 thousand citizens of China, North Korea and Vietnam, only according to official figures, arrives illegally. Specialists of the local migration service complain that at the federal level this problem has not yet been solved.

Russian employers admit that working with Korean builders is much more profitable than with their own. Illegal immigrants say that they are glad to work here even for little money. At home, they would be unemployed.

The Chinese, residents of the least developed northern provinces, except for the possibility of earn money in the Primorye trade, small household services and cooks, are also attracted by taiga wilds, where they hunt animals and collect plants traditional for oriental cuisine and medicine. Border guards delay up to 5 Chinese citizens per week in the taiga.
