Peru is on the verge of a government crisis. The decision of President Alberto Fuhimori on resignation caused a decrease in the national currency and a drop in the shares of Peruvian companies. Immediately after the news of the resignation of the Square in front of the presidential palace in Lima, thousands of demonstrators with white-red Peruvian flags came out. People, apparently, had been waiting for this event for a long time, even brought a cage with a president’s doll in the prison robe to the square. Alberto Fuhimory literally shook the country, announcing his decision to leave the presidential post and appoint early elections. Moreover, Fuhimori emphasized that he himself would not participate in them. The May elections were carried out in violation of the Constitution, as international observers stated, with obvious fraud in favor of the ruling president. Fuhimory also dismissed the national intelligence service and removed its head of √ Vladimir Montesines √ from the post of personal adviser. The "gray cardinal" of the government, whose activities were at the same time on ordinary Peruvians, came across an attempt to bribe an opposition policy.
