According to the newspaper Vremya Novostey , the first deputy general director and head of the NTV information service, Vladimir Kulistikov, will in the coming days be offered the position of chairman of the board of the RIA-Novosti agency, part of the VGTRK holding. This post remained vacant after the previous head, Alexey Volin, left to work in the government, while Mr. Volin continued to oversee the work of the agency. As a high-ranking official told the Vremya Novosti newspaper, “with Vladimir Kulistikov’s arrival at RIA-Novosti there should be no major changes; he will have to join the team that exists now, and not establish his own rules of the game.”
