| For the first time in modern history, a fire occurred in the administration of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. And not just anywhere, but in the department for civil defense and emergency situations. On November 3, at about one o'clock in the afternoon, a fire broke out in one of the office premises of the department. According to the preliminary version, this happened due to a short circuit in electrical equipment. Operational duty officer Sergei Vasiliev and shift engineer Vladimir Dvinyaninov tried to cope with the fire on their own, but they failed. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 1:20 p.m. They put out the fire in 20 minutes, but due to heavy smoke, all officials had to be evacuated from one of the three regional administration buildings. Two administration employees were seriously poisoned by carbon monoxide and were hospitalized. Currently, doctors assess their condition as satisfactory. The damage caused by the fire and firefighters has not yet been calculated. However, apparently, it will be considerable - this building has recently undergone a European-quality renovation.
