The new governor of the Kaliningrad region is 62 years old. He was born in Moscow, studied at the Frunze Naval School, and he began his career in the Navy as commander of the mine-torpedo unit. Later, Vladimir Egorov commanded the “exemplary” anti -submarine ship and various joints of the warships. At the end of 1991, he was awarded the title of admiral, and then Egorov was appointed commander of the Baltic Fleet.
