Clinton is not against the mutual reduction of nuclear warheads to 1,500 units

US President Bill Clinton made it clear that he supports the proposal of Russian leader Vladimir Putin to mutual reduction of nuclear warheads to one and a half thousand units. In an interview with CNN, Clinton said that one could agree "to reduce the number of missiles in our nuclear arsenals, as well as in their / Russia / arsenals."

The American president also outlined the conditions under which such an agreement would be possible. According to him, "it is not necessary to compose such a list of goals that would meet the tasks of protecting the United States, and so that our missile component be effective."

“If we do this, then we can agree with them / Russia / and reduce the number of missiles,” Bill Clinton emphasized.
