Christianity is growing in popularity in Singapore

Among Chinese living in Singapore, Christianity has surpassed Taoism in popularity. But Buddhism still comes first. These data were obtained during the population census.

Singaporeans who consider English their first language are more open to the influence of Christianity, according to census data. It is also related to the level of education. Christians make up the largest group among university graduates. True, in 2000 this number decreased slightly, but, nevertheless, every third of the graduates is a Christian.

There are more Buddhists among people with secondary education.
