Eighth and last

Dear reader! You can enter into a debate with the author of this article, write about it, which will be published on this page.
Hello Lena! You wrote a good article not because it contains the truth, but because it was written from the heart. It just seems to me that you are too zealous in studying history and are too focused on the external side of spiritual improvement (I said nothing to myself, I’ll try to explain). Sitting in an oriental museum to learn bushido is too ostentatious in my opinion. Although I hope you sincerely believe in what you are doing. It is difficult to verify whether this knowledge actually occurs or not. But in your article you yourself give the answer to this. Could you do seppuku? You call the person who made this choice almost a maniac (you never know what he has indulged himself with since his youth). Learn history, but start earlier, when samurai was just beginning. Think about the story, not how it happened, but why it happened. All peoples (I don’t know who you consider yourself to be - I respect and hate, I love and am indifferent to people, not nations and peoples) have had great wars in their history. Why was Japan able to make BUSHIDO a national treasure? Bushido does not exist without SAMURAI. Samurai means to serve. Is it possible in our time, in our country, to know and be touched by the spirit of Bushido? Become a samurai?
Try answering these questions for yourself. If you find the answers, then I think you can try to comprehend BUDO. I expressed my own opinion and gave my advice. I don't claim to know the truth. I am trying to understand BUDO by studying BUJUTSU. I think this is a good way. But you don’t need to go to teeth-crushing sections, as someone advises you. They learn to compete, endure and concentrate willpower in martial arts, and not to kill and die in battle - these are two different things. A couple more questions. Is it possible to call modern soldiers who consciously go to death for their ideals, for the interests of their homeland, SAMURAI? What does it mean for a samurai to “seek death”?
Best regards, Sergei!13.12.2000 11:51

Everything is very nice, why are you pestering the lady? She’s not trying to prove anything to you, but she’s playing with the Russian language for her own pleasure.
Elena! You chose a strange link to Mishima. "Language Shop" doesn't click for you. Please refer to “Virtual Susi”, we have a corresponding design (see link :-)

In order to become not even a samurai, but only to feel the breath of the spirit, you need to at least stop empty chatter, stop scribbling and be silent.
Go to any normal oriental style training. The desire to rant about death will instantly be knocked out.
The Japanese hall of the Oriental Museum is a great place, but women need to be driven out of there.10.11.98 14:13

Hello, Elena!
I think this is a reliable method for the complaint of lack of dihydrogenase enzyme, win-win, keep it up!
How I would like not to engage in obligatory, habitual, mechanical verbiage, when you say not what you want, but about what you feel, you are silent, but to cover your heart and the heart of your loved ones with the petals of beautiful flowers and inhale their fragrant, delicate or tart smells.
And even in difficult moments of life and from a distance, reproduce this image in your memory and soul from an accidental gentle touch of even fur, for example, and an accidentally caught similar smell, recalling your loved one and that time, covered with flowers, which will make your heart beat faster and your eyes shine brighter and involuntarily smile to your lips, noticing the surprised looks of passers-by.
Yes, it is worth living by growing greenhouses of flowers around yourself, giving them to others, decorating life in general.

You know, once on TV there was a film about aliens, on top they have a decent human shell, and inside there is nothing but worms. And now imagine that the shell is torn, and the worms crawl out into the wild, spreading a stench, everyone is so joyful, rushing, each with their own little piece of happiness. And so it’s humanly understandable - you just want a little love, a little kindness, a little understanding, to make your own little cozy nest in this world... But instead they sell you Death, like Herbalife. This is our difficult female lot...

Hello, Elena! And almost simultaneously with you (10.27) I published an article about the fact that business is also a kind of budo. You should like... here it is - Mak-do - The Warrior's Path.
And, by the way, in the Moshkov library there is the “Book of Five Rings” in Russian.9.11.98 15:52

You and I will still go to A and B, see who is faster, then both (both?) will fall, disappear. Seven-eight, five-six. There is no deception, because for a real samurai the truth is contained in a convention, in a specific ethics, in the good old feudal spirit, internalized by a little funny woman, a journalist, a mother of two children. Projection inside out - inward. A game with small remnants living inside, islands that do not reach full-fledged personalities, now clinging to each other, then diverging again - like ships at sea.
Suspicious play with conservative values. It’s good to imagine yourself as a samurai of the spirit (note, not of the body), while walking through the streets of Moscow every day, stopping in for a Pino Colada here, an iced Baileys here, absentmindedly leafing through the latest “Itogi” in the subway car. I'm afraid that in the vicinity of Kyoto everything would not look so refined. Vaporized, pure courage. A wonderful thing that helps you survive this or that failure, a good technique for establishing a closer acquaintance with yourself.
Aesthetics of wind and flow, pine needles and spring water. The sword must be rusty, so that if it does not hit the enemy the first time (not much can happen in samurai life), then at least cause blood poisoning. Spattering blood on a formal kimono is, of course, suxx and mustdie. In general, the best modern embodiment of the spirit of Bushido should undoubtedly be recognized as concentration camps during the Second World War for Malays and others. Freedom for adherents of the heroic ideal. Otherwise, we somehow miss genocide and other delights of the same kind. However, what am I? There is nothing more dangerous than consistent people. But this is not the case, is it? Everyone is free to build correctional institutions within themselves. It doesn't concern anyone.
When we cut off our better halves, who begin with the words “I’m afraid that,” we’ll cut off because they seduce us, when we train in the first hundred steps of a walk to lie not seven or eight, but all ten times, when we give everyone our loved ones and friends on a rusty sword, so that there will be someone to do kaishaku for us, wherever we find ourselves - then from the cold Moscow Heavens the stern but gentle spirit of Yukio Mishima will descend to us with the NBP badge pinned near the heart, take us by the hands and lead us there , where you don't have to think about winning and losing. Because we've already lost. All seven of us will take off our straw sandals and begin to run barefoot on the diamond grass. We won’t even wince. Because we are real writers, samurai of spirit, our hakamas are pure, our hearts are warm, our thoughts are sublime.
We take tram A, tram B and then alphabetically. We never pay tolls. Because it is better to be fined than to discredit the great bushido.

Good article, enjoyable to read.
Only you really don’t know whether Mishima had
problems with assistants? It’s strange, even on TV there was a film about him and a well-known director.
