it is one thing to discuss Russia's strategic development plan proposed by Gref's team. Gref, and this is obvious, proceeded from the fact that market relations have already taken shape in Russia.
But 27% of Russians polled by VTsIOM hold a different opinion: "There is no market in Russia." Another 12% found it difficult to answer this question, and 61% believe that market relations still exist in Russia.
Such a range of opinions is primarily due to the fact that a huge number of people have not been able to adapt to the new economic conditions, and many of them even doubt whether they will be able to adapt at all. It is these categories of the population that imply the absence of a market in Russia.
There is a big difference between those who have found their place in the current economic situation and those who have not been able to do so in their understanding of what, in fact, market relations should be.
The first associate with the market the ability to buy and sell anything - freedom of pricing, freedom from government control, the possibility of speculation, inflation, an abundance of goods on the shelves and the absence of shortages. Obviously, in this sense, there really is a market in Russia.
The second is the economic development and prosperity of the country, as well as free competition. In this sense, obviously, there is no market in our country today.
So everyone is right in their own way.
