| On June 15, the world tour of the British pop group Depeche Mode will begin in Montreal. Members of the famous trio announced this on Tuesday at a press conference in Hamburg. Exciter Tour - under this name there will be concerts in 25 countries around the world, the group’s first long tour in the last three years. Its program will include compositions from the new album Exciter (Mute/Reprise) and “classic” songs from past albums. The official Depeche Mode website states that Exciter is a completely new creative milestone in the band's history, largely thanks to new producer Mark Bell, who previously worked with Björk. It was in collaboration with him that the musicians managed to create an album with an unprecedented combination of electronics and acoustics and a wealth of emotions. Already, fans of the natives of the London suburbs can listen to thirty-second clips of songs from the new album on the band’s website (www.depechemode.com), and a video version of the album’s first single, Dream On, filmed in February in the Californian desert, will soon be released. For the first time, Depeche Mode concerts will be held in Ukraine and Turkey. “We consider it a great success that the geography of our concerts has expanded. Performing in front of new fans is an additional incentive that inspires us to creative pursuits,” admitted band leader Martin Gore. The European tour program includes Tallinn (August 28), Riga (August 29), Vilnius (August 31), Kyiv (September 14), Moscow (September 16) and St. Petersburg (September 18). Evgenia KUBICH
