An armored personnel carrier was seized by employees of the North Caucasus Regional Organized Crime Control Department from a resident of the high-mountain village of Fiagdon in North Ossetia. The combat vehicle was simply standing near a private house. Detectives note that the BTR-60 was in good condition. It had a heavy machine gun with ammunition and a walkie-talkie. A criminal case has been initiated against the owner of the armored personnel carrier. Law enforcement officials are figuring out how a combat vehicle with full combat equipment could have gotten into the high-mountain village and how long it had been there.
