Generally speaking, the issue of the military commissar is very relevant, since Russian and even Moscow schools are hardly equipped with this very educational and material base. And it's not just about newfangled computer bells and whistles. Today's Russian schools lack conventional physical instruments, chemical reagents, sports simulators, textbook globes and stuffed animals. Even in Moscow, schools are equipped with about 20% of the standard standard, therefore, in the capital's budget, funds for these purposes have almost quadrupled this year ...

However, the district military commissariat, as it turned out after reading the three-page document, has its own idea of ​​the necessary educational and material base for the school. He asks the director to urgently inform him if there is a drill ground in the gymnasium. And also a separate platform for learning the techniques and rules of shooting. As well as a place to study sentry duties. And also a place to study the duties of an orderly. And one more, most amazing place - a place for learning how to clean and oil weapons. And to it, of course, a room for storing weapons.

Maybe the military commissar messed something up in the spring?

After all, this is not at the school, but just in his department, in those parts where our guys serve, and there should be all of the above sites and places. However, even in the spring, military commissars rarely take the initiative. Obviously, this very eloquent questionnaire was sent to the district military registration and enlistment office from somewhere above ...

By the way, this is not the first convulsive attempt to militarize the school, which I have repeatedly reported to the readers of Novaya Gazeta.

Moreover, there is a corresponding experience, the experience of the Soviet school. I remember the initial military training - the notorious NVP in the tenth grade. I remember how we non-stop assembled and dismantled machine guns, at the same time pulling on gas masks, and most importantly, marching, marching, marching on that same drill site and from time to time shouting: “Hello! Together with us, our fighting girlfriends, Soviet high school students, in their blue militarized school uniforms, walked along the school parade, and all this became one of the most common, recognizable and frightening symbols of the communist empire.

However, the current policy of militarization of the school has one striking feature - it occurs just at the moment when the president everywhere declares the need to demilitarize society, the need to move towards a professional army, and even appoints an almost civilian minister of defense and, in addition, a lady - a deputy minister ...
