Gazprom-Media filed a complaint in court against the management of NTV, citing the fact that the TV channel's managers are preventing the implementation of the decision of the TV company's Board of Directors dated April 3 on the appointment of new managers, RIA Novosti reports.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom-Media, member of the board of Gazprom OJSC Alexander Kazakov has already expressed confidence that the complaint will be satisfied. At the same time, he emphasized, if the decision is in favor of Media-Most, Gazprom-Media will “unequivocally submit to any decision,” but will “defend its position based on the law,” in other words, it will appeal to a higher authority.
At the same time, as Kazakov noted, if the labor collective headed by Kiselev again does not obey the court decision, then it will be necessary to “use power in a legal manner.” In this case, the court order will have to be executed by bailiffs. However, as Kazakov emphasized, “there will be no forceful options, no “mask shows” with machine guns.” “This is absolutely impossible,” said the chairman of the board of directors of Gazprom Media.
The claims of the Media-Most subsidiary campaign to invalidate the decisions of the meeting of shareholders and the board of directors of NTV on April 3 will be considered at a meeting of the Moscow Arbitration Court, which will take place on May 10 and 17.
