Boris Jordan's press secretary Oleg Sapozhnikov denies the information disseminated the day before by the NTV press service about the businessman's attempts to split the team, promising journalists apartments and double salaries if they leave the television company. Sapozhnikov called this message “false” and “provocative,” RIA Novosti reports. According to him, it was just the opposite. The general director of NTV, “according to Gazprom,” called on the channel’s employees not to leave the company and to continue fulfilling their professional duty in the interests of millions of television viewers.
At the meeting, according to Sapozhnikov, journalists made a number of interesting proposals on the formation of the channel’s editorial policy and organization of the production process.
“The dissemination by the “NTV press service” of false information about the results of the meeting has a very obvious purpose - to cast a shadow on those members of the team who do not agree with the position of the previous management of the company, which over the past few days has been trying with all its might through provocations, intimidation, and outright lies to maximally aggravate the situation around the television company,” press secretary Boris Jordan emphasizes in a statement.
