The NTV press service states that the television company's staff still does not consider Boris Jordan to be the legitimate general director of the company. On Friday, Tatyana Blinova, deputy head of the television company's press service, said that NTV employees are convinced of the illegality of Boris Jordan's appointment, since, according to her, "the very holding of an extraordinary meeting of shareholders, at which a new Board of Directors was elected, appointing Boris Jordan as general director, was illegal."

Tatyana Blinova once again recalled that NTV’s current position is that only the court can resolve the conflict situation around the television company. “The President advised us to go to court, which we did,” said the press service representative, noting that claims to declare illegal the holding of the meeting of NTV shareholders on April 3 and the decisions taken at it were filed with the Moscow Arbitration and Presnensky Intermunicipal Courts.

If the courts of first instance make decisions not in favor of NTV, the company reserves the right to appeal them to higher authorities, up to the Supreme and Supreme Arbitration Courts, said Tatyana Blinova. NTV employees, “being law-abiding citizens, will certainly obey the decision of the highest judicial authorities,” she emphasized.

According to Blinova, since the position of the NTV team on the issue of appointing a new general director is well known, she does not consider it necessary to comment on Boris Jordan’s statement about his intention to begin fulfilling his duties as general director of the television company on Monday, April 16.
