The appraiser's license was valued at one thousand rubles
At the end of the week, the government adopted a resolution “On licensing of appraisal activities.” Appraisers of the market value of property will now be charged 1 thousand rubles. and will require confirmation of their professional qualities.

Licensing of appraisal activities is provided for by the Federal Law "On Appraisal Activities in the Russian Federation", adopted in August 1998. However, the development of regulations regulating the procedure for granting licenses took almost three years. All this time, appraisers carried out their activities, guided by the temporary regulations of the subjects of the federation, or did without licenses at all. Now they will have to obtain licenses from the Ministry of Property Relations, which is ordered by government decree to monitor their issuance, within three months after the official publication of the Regulations on Licensing Appraisal Activities adopted on Thursday.
In total, four types of valuation activities will be licensed: assessment of the market value of property rights in relation to real estate, movable property, results of intellectual activity and assessment of the value of an enterprise or business (this section also includes the valuation of securities). According to Deputy Minister of Property Relations Zumrud Rustamova, the main conditions for obtaining a license will be the presence of a document confirming the receipt of professional knowledge in the appraisal services specified in the license, and the implementation by the appraiser of civil liability insurance in the field of appraisal activities.
The fee for issuing licenses to carry out appraisal activities will be 1 thousand rubles, for consideration of the application a fee of 300 rubles will be charged, for renewal or re-issuance of a license, as well as for providing an extract from the register of licenses - 10 rubles. As stated by the head of the assessment department of the Ministry of Property, Georgy Koryashkin, the application for a license will be considered by the licensing authority no more than a month from the date of its submission.
