| Today, the Baltika brewing company will file a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region against Meta-Tabak CJSC for damages caused by the company's products, the Baltika press service reported. Baltika hopes to receive 300 thousand rubles from the defendant company. According to Baltika's lawyers, Meta-Tabak earned this amount by selling cigarettes under the brands Baltika No. 3 and Baltika No. 9, violating the brewing company's rights to a registered trademark. Meta-Tabak began selling these cigarettes in September 2000. The management of Baltika, which registered its trademark, including in the “tobacco and smoking accessories” class, considered the action of the tobacco workers a violation of their rights. In February, the trial ended in victory for the brewers. "TIME FOR NEWS"
