Four children died in Ingushetia as a result of the explosion of a shell they found. The tragedy occurred in the village of Kantyshevo, Nazran district on Tuesday. The power of the explosion was so great that a crater with a diameter of 15-20 and a depth of about 2 meters was formed at the site where the shell was discovered. 12-year-old Amirkhan Kadzoev, 9-year-old Milana Kadzoeva, 6-year-old Milana Zurabova and 5-year-old Muslim Zurabov died on the spot. Fragments of their bodies were scattered over a radius of several tens of meters. Experts examining the scene of the incident determined that a tank cumulative shell, which the children found on the bank of a river on the outskirts of the village, exploded. Having brought the find to their street, the children began to disassemble it. Next to the funnel, detectives found a hammer, which, apparently, was used by one of the children. Law enforcement agencies began an investigation into the circumstances of how the shell ended up on the river bank. There are no military units deployed in the area of the village, and the origin of the powerful ammunition remains unknown.
