A trap for a millionaire

1880. Louis Antonio Vargas is young, beautiful and rich. He owns coffee plantations in Cuba. For complete happiness, he lacks only his wife. But it is not so easy for a young magnate to find a suitable bride, although many beauties dream of going to the altar with him. Louis Antonio is afraid that the beauties need him not he, but his millions. On the newspaper announcement, he meets American Julia.

He decides to marry her, barely seeing a photo. Having met the bride in the port, he discovers that Julia is not at all the girl that he saw in the photo. She was even more beautiful. Julia admitted that she sent someone else's photo because she wanted to impress Vargas not only with an attractive appearance. The Kubinsky tycoon also admitted that he lied in letters: he said that he was working at the plantation. He just wanted Julia to fall in love with him, not money.

The erotic thriller "temptation" begins as a Latin American series. But the main characters played by Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie will not have to live happily ever after, because the film was shot according to the novel by Cornell Wulrich, the author of the famous “Windows to the courtyard”, filmed by Alfred Hitchcock.

After the wedding, Vargas realizes that his beauty has their own secrets. He loves Julia, he goes crazy about her, he is obsessed with her. Love creates, but love destroys. Life loses all meaning for Luis Antonio when his wife disappears without a trace. He is looking for Julia, opening along the way the completely unexpected details of his wife's past.

Michael Christopher, the creator of the script of Istuyk Witches, became the screenwriter and director of the temptation. He shot the remake of the film by Francois Truffo "Mississippi (1969), in which Jean-Paul Belmondo lost his head from the passion for Catherine Deneuve.

Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie look great together. They played passionate love so believably that this almost destroyed the marriage of Banderas and Melanie Griffith, who arranged several scandalous scenes of jealousy on the set of "temptation".

The premiere of the thriller "Seduction" will be held on September 6 at the Moscow Cinema Kodak-Kinomir.
