Terrorist Tamerlan Aliyev, who escaped from the Buinaksk temporary detention center this morning, was released by his overseer “to visit his family.”

As Madomedarip Aliyev, head of the Buinaksk Municipal Internal Affairs Directorate, told RBC, policeman Sharip Chupaev, who was guarding the terrorist, admitted that he had indeed released Tamerlan Aliyev, sentenced to life imprisonment, “on his word of honor so that he could see his family.”

It turned out that T. Aliyev was a former classmate of Sh. Chupaev, and therefore the convict managed to come to an agreement with his guard. After the escaped terrorist did not return after the agreed time, Sh. Chupaev was the first to raise the alarm.

Let us remind you that today at about 4.00 Moscow time, Tamerlan Aliyev, previously sentenced to life imprisonment by the Supreme Court of the republic, escaped from the temporary detention center in Buinaksk in Dagestan.

As reported by the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, T. Aliyev was convicted of participation in the preparation in September 1998. terrorist attack on the street Parkhomenko in Makhachkala, which killed 20 people and injured over 60 people.
