The damage caused by the sale to the regional trade union movement amounted to 240 thousand rubles. The apartment that became the subject of the proceedings was built with funds from a travel company established at one time by the Federation of Trade Unions as a commercial structure. Therefore, the housing, the construction of which was financed by the travel agency, officially became the property of the trade unions. At first, one of the travel agency employees wanted to buy the ill-fated apartment; the issue was discussed at a meeting of the presidium and was resolved positively.
