Kudrin goes to Bulgaria to pay debts

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Russia Alexei Kudrin on February 21-22 will visit Bulgaria to participate in negotiations regarding the settlement of Russia's debt to this country.

According to Interfax , we are talking about about $ 100 million. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized, “there is political will” to solve this issue. It is too early to talk about the specific scheme of debt repayment, while only the “preliminary paths” of solving this problem have been outlined, however, as Kudrin said, Russia and Bulgaria intend to prepare options for resolving debts within a month.

In turn, as RIA Novosti reports, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria Nikolai Vasiliev also expects that the issue of resolving previous Russian duty will be resolved in the coming months.
