Novaya Gazeta has published materials under this title more than once, talking about the ongoing legal battle for property rights between the former management of the trading company and the city, which has been ongoing for four years. And although it seems to be clear that the city authorities have gained the upper hand, the confrontation still cannot end. On March 7, on the eve of International Women's Day, the City Court was supposed to consider another lawsuit in the DLT case. But the review, as has happened more than once, did not take place.
Let us remind you. After the city won all the courts and confirmed its right to a controlling stake in the store, on September 20 last year it held an extraordinary meeting of shareholders, removed the previous management of DLT and appointed a new one. The dismissed leaders demanded that this meeting be declared illegal and filed a lawsuit in the Kuibyshevsky court, but the judges considered that KUGI had every right to hold the meeting, and at the end of November they rejected the claim.
Then the former managers filed a cassation appeal to the City Court. But the meeting scheduled for March 7 did not take place because one of the plaintiffs, former chairman of the Supervisory Board of DLT Lyubov Zvonkova, unexpectedly fell ill. The trial had to be postponed to the 21st. And in confirmation of her illness, Ms. Zvonkova submitted a referral to a doctor on March 12.
However, not only Zvonkova herself did not appear at the last meeting, but also the other four plaintiffs, as well as their representative Anatoly Shesteryuk. Not only do they not come to court, but they also hide from it - just like young people who are trying to avoid being drafted into the army. From three of them, court summonses and telegrams are returned with the mark “left”, although they are sent exactly to the addresses indicated by the addressees themselves.
In short, the detached leadership of the DLT, as before, is using delaying tactics and exhausting delays in the courts - which is what they have been doing over the past years.
