"Titanic" was detained in Ingushetia

A particularly dangerous criminal Said-Magomed Chupalaev, the associate of Maskhadov and Basayev was detained in the camp of Chechen immigrants in Ingushetia. According to RIA Novosti in the press service of the North Caucasus Operational Directorate for the Struggle against Particularly Dangerous Crimes, during a search of Chupalaev, letters of Basayev and Maskhadov were discovered to Chechens with calls to return "to an active struggle" in the ranks of the militants.

According to special services, Chupalaev has a solid "track record". He led the divisions of the militants and the so -called "headquarters of the fronts." At one time he was transported to Turkey for treatment. In Ingushetia, Chupalaev was given a shelter of his fellow countrymen.

According to the operatives, among the bandits, Said Magomed Chupalaev is known under the nickname "Titanic". The terrorist Salman Raduev, sentenced to life imprisonment, had the same nickname.
