The main film award of Russia "Nika" may cease to exist. The reason is in the war of ambitions, which has already been going on for five years between the former creative union of filmmakers (SK) and the personal characteristics of Nikita Mikhalkov, Izvestia.Ru reports.
By 2002, the Union of Cinematographers as a creative community has already ceased to exist. He was replaced by the UK as a trade union and a hastily invented Academy of Cinematic Arts and Sciences. The last strongholds of the former Union of Cinematographers are the House of Cinema and the Big Journey of Kino -Workers, which determines the winners of the national film award, and which has been called the Nick Academy for fifteen years.
The cinema house will close in the summer for a long time, and maybe forever: what will be built in this place, few people know. Around the Nick Academy there is a war declared by the new Union of filmmakers under the leadership of Mikhalkov, whose main task is to destroy the "old nickname" to the foundation, put in its place the "new eagle".
Mikhalkov called people from "Nicky" thimble. Thus, not only the creators of “Nicky” Julius Gusman and Viktor Merezhko, but also four hundred academicians - leading cinema masters, and dozens of her famous laureates, as well as the Presidium “Nicky”, which include the most authoritative people of the movie and who heads Eldar Ryazanov, got into this rank. As the “Nikita” himself did not know, Nikita Mikhalkov did not know. Probably, as a consistent person, he threw this right product.
