Meanwhile, the chairman of the regional parliament himself told reporters on Friday that he intends to protest in court the decision of the regional election commission to set August 3 as the closing date for accepting applications from candidates for the gubernatorial elections (the elections themselves are September 8). Arguments of the real Uss: it is impossible to allow “everyone passing by Krasnoyarsk to go to the election commission and interfere with the normal organization of elections and the formation of state power in the region.”
According to the regional election commission, to date 25 people have notified their decision to participate in the gubernatorial elections. The regional election commission received statements, in particular, from the head of the Republic of Khakassia, the brother of the deceased Krasnoyarsk governor Alexei Lebed , the mayor of Krasnoyarsk Pyotr Pimashkov , the governor of the Taimyr Autonomous Okrug Alexander Khloponin , the State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Sergei Glazyev , the chairman of the Krasnoyarsk regional organization "Honor and Motherland" Igor Zakharov , entrepreneurs Artem Tarasov and German Sterligov . The main candidates are Uss and Khloponin.
