Spain is ready to join the war with Morocco

Spain accepts countermeasures against the seizure by a group of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Morocco of a small uninhabited island of Perekil, located 4 km from the Spanish semi -clock of Seuta, located in North Africa, on the southern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, near the border with the Kingdom of Morocco.

The Spanish troops were landed on the uninhabited islands of Alusemas and the Penion de Veles to repel the temptations from the Moroccans to take them. As for the approaches to the Spanish cities of Seutu and Mellya in North Africa, according to the Ministry of Defense of Spain, "everything is calm."

The First Deputy Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rahoy said that the Morocco authorities should be aware of what they risk, given that the Spanish investments in this country occupy the second place among all foreign investments, and hundreds of thousands of Moroccans pass through the Spanish territory from European countries to their homeland.

The leadership of the European Union informed the Morocco authorities that they consider the seizure of the Spanish Island unacceptable and can reconsider their relations with Rabat.

At the same time, the NATO leadership said that he was not going to interfere in this dispute on the basis of the article of the fifth charter of the Alliance, which orders to assist the NATO member country if it was attacked from the outside. According to the NATO leadership, in this case we are talking about a problem related to bilateral relations of Spain and Morocco.
