According to the official website of the brothers , the next day after the operation, Vitaly left the clinic, and on Wednesday the doctors conducted an examination and confirmed that the results of the operation were satisfied and soon he will be able to start training.
His brother Vladimir Klitschko, who is a contender for the fight for the title of heavy weight champion with the Englishman Lennox Lewis, was also present in the hospital along with Vitaly. He was next to his brother even during the operation: "The operation was carried out very professionally. I was amazed at how the surgeons worked for sure and seemingly easily. Not a single extra movement. Everything is timely, without fuss."
Now, according to Vladimir, Vitaly will rest a little and will soon begin classes - he needs a week of restorative therapy. After three or four and a half weeks, he will be able to begin full training, and after two months Vitaly will be ready for a duel.
