
The Euro-Finance and Gazprom Bank create a new media holding in which Gazprom will control 51%, Euro-financial √ 49% of the voting shares. This is stated in a joint statement by the bank and the company, reports Prime Tass.
The press release notes that the state of the NTV television company has the main influence on the development of Gazprom-Media. In this regard, a decision was made to transfer 10% of the shares to the television channel.
It will be sold to 5% of the privileged shares of the new media holding and 5% of the privileged shares of the NTV television company.
With Boris Yordan, a three-year contract for managing the new media-holding and NTV will be concluded.
In addition, an agreement has been reached on the organization and financing of Euro-financial to repay the debt obligations of Gazprom-Media to Gazprom in the amount of $ 600 million.
Euro-Finance Bank invests about $ 100 million in Gazprom's media assets.
