The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Japan "developed a unified understanding of the main parameters of further discussion of the problem of a peace treaty."

This, according to RIA Novosti , said on Saturday at the end of negotiations with his Japanese colleague Yoriko Kavaguti, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov. According to him, the parties agreed to continue negotiations on the basis of the entire complex of previously developed agreements.
