Chechen pogroms began in the suburbs

The pogroms of the Chechens, the possibility of which were mentioned a lot after the capture of hostages in Moscow began. On Wednesday night in the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo, unknown people set fire to a store belonging to the Chechen family. The investigators who came after the firefighters found two inscriptions on the walls of the store and adjacent to it: “Chechens, we will kill you,” Izvestia.ru reports.

The victims - Chechen Akhadia Isaidov and his wife Zargan Baisogurov - have been living in Orekhov -Zuev since 1987. The store, in which they sell clothes, shoes and various consumer goods, opened several years ago.

“Previously, everything was quiet and calm,” says Akhadia Isaidov. “I never saw any skinheads and other skin -headed ones. They didn’t bother anyone, they didn’t bother anyone. They never conflicts with the police, and no one paid attention to our nationality.”

The fire in a one -story brick building of the Mayak store began at about 3 a.m. At that moment there was no one in the room, so there were no victims and victims. Firefighters extinguished the fire for an hour. According to the victims, the goods burned a little - about 300 thousand rubles.

The city prosecutor Yakov Shishigin told Izvestia that so far two versions of what happened are being considered - spontaneous combustion and arson. However, he himself is inclined precisely to the version of arson. Therefore, the criminal case was instituted under the article "Intentional destruction or damage to other people's property by arson."

The fact that the store was set on fire, throwing a bottle of incendiary mixture inside, several factors indicate: a broken window that appeared on the walls of the inscription with the threat of killing Chechens and that where the fire occurred, there was no electrical wiring.

“I’m sure that everything happened precisely because of the attack in Moscow,” said Ahadiy Isaidov. “On the day of the release of hostages from the recreation center, October 26, I set fire to the car -“ Gazelle ”. It’s good that they managed to put out in time - only a tarpaulin's tent burned out. I did not attach much importance to this. And now the store has burned down. And also these inscriptions that we have already wiped it off.”

He does not feel fear, according to Isaidov. Now he and his wife are guarded by the local police. In order to avoid any troubles, all yesterday’s employees of the local Internal Affairs Directorate were really on duty in the courtyard of the house where the Chechen family lives.
