This volume continues the publication of the document. Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, started with the series "Mensheviks in 1917". The volumes of the new series will reflect the history of the Menshevik party in the first 5-6 years of the Bolshevik dictatorship.
The materials in this volume cover the last year and a half of the functioning of the RSDLP as an opposition semi-legal party. These are primarily documents of two leading centers - the Central Committee in Russia and the Foreign Delegation to Berlin, their resolutions, decrees and addresses, a number of documents from the August 1921 and October 1922 party meetings and materials from local organizations. Correspondence between prominent figures of the RSDLP, revealing the circumstances of the adoption of the most important documents, occupies most of the collection.
Many materials published in the volume are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.

This publication publishes documents from federal state and departmental archives (GARF, RGASPI, Central Archive of the FSB of the Russian Federation and APRF) dedicated to the organization and conduct by the Soviet party-state machine of the largest show political trial in Moscow (June-August 1922) over a group of members of the Central Committee and activists of the Socialist Revolutionary Party.
The main part of the book contains documents from 1922-1924. three “thematic” files from the fund of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the RCP (b), stored in the APRF and revealing the mechanism of preparation and implementation of the trial of members of the AKP in the context of the defeat of the political opposition in the RSFSR - USSR. The appendix contains documents from other cases of the Politburo Foundation, the Secretariat, the Supreme Tribunal, the GPU - OGPU and others, revealing the political, propaganda, punitive and other aspects of the suppression by the authorities of the largest opposition party in post-revolutionary Russia, as well as materials from the defendants, Russian and foreign Socialist Revolutionaries, vividly depicting " human" component of their selfless struggle and confrontation with the authorities.

The published historical and journalistic work, which gives a modern view of the main problems of German history and the country's prospects in the 21st century, is based on the scientific achievements of modern historians and political scientists of the two countries, and uses materials from Russian and German archives. German history of the 20th century is inseparable from the destinies of Europe and world politics, from the “war of ideologies” and the “cold war”, which divided the country into two unequal parts. Having survived two revolutions and unleashed two world wars, Germany twice managed to rise from the ruins and return to one of the leading world powers. However, even today it cannot be said that it has already fully found its place in the new “European concert”. The German experience - both the failed push for world domination and the evolution of two dictatorships, the latter of which ultimately ended in the success of the German struggle for national consolidation and democratic choice - is of particular significance for modern Russia. In turn, without the influence of the “Russian example” it is impossible to understand either the German revolution of 1918 or the collapse of the political regime of the GDR in 1989. The common destinies of the two largest states of continental Europe, their historical and spiritual roots, economic and political prospects are one of the central plots of the book.

It can serve as an additional textbook on history and regional studies for students of the humanities, as well as an information base for international journalists and political scientists.

This book is the first generalized study on the history of domestic land banks, which were an important part of the credit system of both pre-reform and post-reform Russia. The author shows the specifics of pre-reform mortgages, when the state was a monopolist in the field of bank credit, which gave it a touch of charity and thereby contributed to the formation of specific features of the landlord economy. The monograph focuses on post-reform state and private land banks. Based on mass statistical and archival data, a wide range of issues characterizing the activities of these banks is examined: establishment, legal regulation, government policy towards banks, the range and dynamics of their operations, interbank relations, clientele, financial situation, role in the post-reform restructuring of the economy. The work first formulated the concept of bourgeois, in its essence and consequences, activities of post-reform land banks. Using traditional and quantitative methods of analyzing mass data, the author shows the influence of mortgages on the bourgeois-agrarian evolution of Russia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries: the formation of the land market, the capitalization of the landowners and the individualization of peasant farming. The book is equipped with statistical tables, illustrations, diagrams of banking groups, and a personal index.

The collection is the third issue of the named annual publication, prepared by the Center for Economic History at the Faculty of History of Moscow State University and the group “Socio-Economic History: Economy and Society” of the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The third issue of the Yearbook continues to publish the results of new analytical studies on economic history. The pre-revolutionary period of Russian history is represented by articles devoted to the credit and financial system, the securities market, the Stolypin reform, the patent case, individual companies and entrepreneurs. The collection contains an interesting example of counterfactual modeling of historical and economic processes, as well as the first experience of studying the dynamics of the well-being of the Russian population based on anthropometric indicators, published simultaneously with a review of the results of similar works in foreign economic history.

The 1990s were marked by radical reforms of local government in Russian cities. The 1993 Constitution proclaimed the autonomy of local governments from state authorities. Ten years later, the results of these reforms have been highly controversial. A collective monograph of Russian political scientists is devoted to the search for answers to questions about the causes and consequences of this process, differences/similarities and prospects for its occurrence in the cities and regions of Russia. The book is devoted to the theory of architectural composition as a type of professional self-awareness or reflection that arises regarding the existence of a spatial-tectonic form.
The role of the theory of architectural composition in the general system of architectural studies is the same as the role of poetics in literary criticism. The poetics of architecture today, as before, is understood as a certain theoretical and technical discipline that reflects the “way of making” an artistically significant object. However, poetics today is not an intrusive method, but rather a guessable structure of the creative act, read in theoretical analysis. This work reflects the peculiarities of the poetics of architecture in its development, which are correlated with conventionally identified three eras: with the era of traditional, pre-modernist ideas (conditionally, from Vitruvius to the normative aesthetics of French classicism and Ecole de Bazar); with the era of modernism, addressed to fundamentally different value-cultural and aesthetic norms, but still with the ideal of natural-organic form formation characteristic of pre-modern poetics, and finally, with the era of modern architecture, expressing itself in the free normative discourse of postmodern mentality. Thus, the theory of architectural composition, as understood by the authors, appears to the reader as the historical poetics of architecture.
