Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin is sure that next year oil prices will be stable. The cost of Russian Urals, despite the possibility of changing the regime in Iraq, will not fall next year lower than the average price of 21.50 dollars per barrel, which will allow Moscow to fulfill the budget and serve debts, he said in an interview with Wall Street Journal .
Kudrin said that, according to Moscow, a possible change in the regime in Iraq will not lead to an immediate release of additional oil volumes to the market, which could seriously affect prices and negatively affect the Russian economy.
"Russia against any unexpected, sharp falls of prices, this would create problems for both companies and budgets of various countries," the official "Interfax" quotes the words.
The head of the Russian financial department notes that following the discussion of this issue at meetings with the ministers of the Finance of Western countries and oil companies, there is confidence that such a development of events can be avoided.
