The budget is executed with a surplus of 77.5 billion rubles

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Taxes and Duties submitted data on the execution of the federal budget for 2002 according to the results of the past ten months. According to Prime-Tass, the federal budget surplus in January-October amounted to 77.5 billion rubles, which is slightly less than 0.9% of the gross domestic product. According to preliminary data from Russia's GDP for 10 months of 2002 amounted to 8908 billion rubles.

According to the results of 10 months, the Ministry of taxes and fees raised 1225 billion rubles to the federal budget, the GTK - another 471 billion Ministry of Property Relations - so far only 29.9 billion rubles. (But ahead of the possible transactions for the sale of large state -owned shares of Slavneft and Lukoil).

Pure repayment of the main external debt in January-October 2002 amounted to 167.6 billion rubles.
