Sergey Kiriyenko can lead the Aviastar

In the near future, the board of directors of Aviastar-SP CJSC should be held, at which the chairman of the board of directors of the Aviastar-SS CJSC Presidential Presidential President in the Volga Federal District Sergey Kiriyenko will be held, Simbirsk Courier reports.

And on January 18 of this year, a visit to the government delegation to Egypt is planned, which should finally resolve all problematic issues related to the scandalous contract for the supply of up to 200 Tu-204 Egyptian Sirocco Aerospace. The newspaper reports that the delegation will be headed, which will include Governor Vladimir Shamanov, Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov.

However, if Kiriyenko’s envoy really becomes the head of this aviation holding (about how he is going to combine his positions, the Simbirsk Courier is silent), he will have to deal not only with the contract, but, first of all, with the shareholders of the Aviastar.

The situation here is extremely confusing. The capacities for the production of Tu-204 aircraft are on the balance sheet of Aviastar-SS CJSC, created in 1998 as a 100%"daughter" of the Aviastar Aircraft Building Complex. Now the largest shareholder of Aviastara-SS (more than 73%) is Tupolev OJSC. The Aviastar complex belonged to 25.4% of the Aviastara-SP shares. In April 2001, Aviastara-SS shareholders decided to sell 26% of the company's shares in the Moscow group of New Commonwealth. Within the agreed time, they were not transferred to them - against the transfer of shares "Aviastar -SS", its largest shareholder, OJSC Tupolev, opposed the Moscow holding. The New Commonwealth has terminated the investment agreement. The shareholders then tried to agree on a new agreement, but the issue still remains unresolved.

The Egyptian contract itself is also not without flaw. Vice President of Tupolev Alexander Polyakov says that the contract is unprofitable. According to him, the reasonable contract price of the glider (a plane without engines) is about 12 million dollars. And Aviastar receives $ 6 million for its glider. The Egyptian side in the person of the Kato Aromatic international company (it established Sirocco Aerospace) to change either the terms of the contract or the performers.

The Aviastar plant was built in 1976 and in Soviet times produced up to 60 aircraft annually, being the largest aviation plant in Europe. In the nineties, production volumes fell to five liners per year. The number of employees decreased from 36 to 10 thousand people, many of which are not received for months.
