
The Ocean transport "Marin Rilaence" under the flag of the Marshall Islands endures in the Bering Sea. On board there is a team of twenty -five people. The engine refused at the ship, its crew was given by the SOS distress signal, ITAR-TASS reports.
A rescue vessel "Fair", assigned to the port of Vladivostok, was sent to the area of the incident. Now two vessels are at a distance of 360 miles from each other. "Fair" may approach ocean transport on February 10.
According to the shift captain of the Vladivostok rescue and coordination center Anatoly Zarubin, Marin Rilaence drifts approximately 100 miles north of the island of Natu, which is part of the Aleutian islands. In this area of the Bering Sea, a strong storm is observed, the height of the waves reaches six meters.
