Vyacheslav Tikhonov is 75 years old

On February 8, actor Vyacheslav Tikhonov turns 75 years old. His childhood passed in the hungry post -war years in the Pavlovsky Posad near Moscow. And although from a young age Tikhonov cherished the dream of becoming an actor, he went to Moscow to go to the auto -mechanical, and suddenly understood on the train - now or never.

In 1950, Tikhonov graduated from VGIK, worked in the theater-studio of the film actor. His first role in the cinema was Volodya Osmukhin from the "Young Guard". Then there was the film "It was in Penkov" - a picture that Tikhonov considers "the most expensive" for himself personally.

From the film to the film, he amazingly got used to the images of his heroes, such different and contradictory - from a simple village guy to Prince Andrei Bolkonsky, from Odessa sailor to a noble officer of the Russian army.

The military uniform in the cinema Tikhonov dressed repeatedly. In the gallery of the images he created, there are heroic people: sailor Victor Rasky in an “emergency”, Juleitenant Rukavichkin in the “May stars”, midshipman Panin, infantryman Nikolai Streltsov in “They fought for the Motherland”, General Konstantinov in “TASS is authorized” and, of course, the legendary standards of sS Stirlitz, he is Colonel Isaev.

For millions of spectators, Tikhonov is not just a beloved artist, handsome and ruler of thoughts, he is an example of intelligence, decency and principality - such as many of his movie heroes, such as Melnikov’s history teacher in the famous “We will live until Monday”.

Over the years, Tikhonov began to allow himself to be negative and ridiculous roles, such as, for example, the role of a refined intellectual in the picture of Nikita Mikhalkov “Tired of the Sun” or an almost grotesque role in the film by Mark Zakharov “Kill the Dragon” according to the fairy tale of Schwartz.
