According to the investigation, the director of the branch guaranteed the merchant the “necessary” decision not only of the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan, but even of the Federal Arbitration Court of the Volga District. However, he decided not to give the money, but filed a statement with the Organized Crime Control Department and the prosecutor’s office. Last Tuesday, the businessman informed Mr. Shakirov that he allegedly agreed to pay the amount and invited a lawyer to one of his stores, where Organized Crime Control officers had installed hidden cameras. While handing over the money, Mr. Shakirov was captured. The prosecutor's office insisted on arresting Mr. Shakirov, but the court decided to release him on his own recognizance.
