
Up to 200 representatives of medical institutions of various regions of the country picked up the State Duma building on the Okhotny row on Monday morning, protesting against the intended changes in the wage system of state employees.
Health workers from Tataria, Nizhny Novgorod, Vologda, Kursk, Oryol, Voronezh, Bryansk, Ivanovo and a number of other regions lined up opposite the entrance to the State Duma with slogans and posters expressing the protest of doctors against the government concept of reforming wages in the budgetary, Interfax reports.
The leaflets that distributed during the picket lists the main slogans -requirements of the promotion participants: “Do not allow the hasty and not provided with financing for reforming wages!”, “Conduct an indexation of the ETS salaries (a single tariff grid) from April 1, 2003 at least 1.5 times, and from January 1, 2004 - 2 times!”, “Increase the minimum size! Students from April 1, 2003 are not less than 500 rubles! ”,“ Ensure budget financing of student sanatoriums! ”
According to Vladimir Lyalin, Deputy Chairman of the Trade Union of Russian Health Workers, the picket is timed to the next parliamentary hearings on the concept of the concept proposed by the government. He also emphasized that education and culture workers are in solidarity with the requirements of doctors.
"Under these slogans there will be a large -scale all -Russian action, which was outlined on February 26-28, the association of trade unions of the non -production sphere of the Russian Federation," Lyalin said.
