How much does it cost to sing on TV

T

creative personalities are always selfish. The thirst for fame is not a goal for them, but a means to prove to themselves that they are high-flying geniuses.

Friends and relatives are only good for the capable. Geniuses need millions. In human and conventional units.

In order to attract attention, you need to become a central figure. For example, the vocalist of the group. People are like dogs - they respond to the voice. Good, bad, it doesn't matter.

The voice needs to be replicated. The surest way is to TV.

The appearance inside the box of some singers, and especially singers, suggests that talents have run out in Russia. A rich experience of communication with musicians who create outside the sphere of commerce and showbiz proves that this is not so.

Unfortunately, people are really talented - commercial ignoramuses. But those whose thirst for creativity is driven by vanity and ambition will always find money.

We bothered to find out how much it costs husbands-lovers-producers public vocal exercises of friends-girlfriends-halves.

It turned out that in relation to music policy, each television channel has its own financial and ethical rules. We decided to write about each. Who knows, maybe some of you, dear readers, will decide to do vocal experiments?

M

music-promoting channel (such as MTV and MuzTV) Channel One is not. Therefore, music videos appear in its broadcasting schedule mainly as a nice addition. Music is inserted to raise the mood "Morning", for example, or "Army Store" (to strengthen the spirit of the fighters).

Until recently, the music editorial staff of Channel One was headed by a young man, Ilya Bachurin. At one time, he managed to stop the story, when the airtime on the channel was traded, as if from a tent. Bachurin selected professional, and most importantly, scrupulous music editors who, despite all the semi-official nature of the first button, managed to broadcast at least approximately the kind of music that is not disgusting to see and hear the audience.

I must say: in addition to clips, spacers, music on Channel One is also presented in the nightly music program "Real Music".

This nightly program about the events of musical life is completely the property of the large recording company Real Records, which releases records of many of our stars: Zemfira, for example, and Tanya Bulanova.

The venerable record label almost completely uses "real music" to promote its own artists.

As for other performers, for the broadcasts in Real Music, Real buys songs in collections, which they then publish.

The story, when a record company releases its own program on one of the central channels, is a fact that, first of all, speaks of disregard for the tastes of the audience.

The musical edition has nothing to do with the production and broadcasting of this program. "Real Music" is directly administered by Channel One itself. It’s understandable, given that one of the founders of Real Records is Konstantin Ernst, General Director of Channel One.

Interestingly, the disgraced Boris Berezovsky is still another founder of the record company.

People who are not far from communicating with the channel are aware of a number of cases when Real Madrid directly or indirectly tried to influence the channel's music policy in general and the music editors.

Not so long ago, the professional Bachurin was invited to head the music editorial office of MTV. Ilya agreed and left. In his place, on the advice of the general director of Real Madrid, Alena Mikhailova, a well-known figure in the radio world, Yuri Aksyuta, was appointed.

The first channel is a serious button, all of Russia presses on it. It is not surprising that the promoter of all the "folk" singers - from Yura Shatunov to "Hands Up" - Igor Krutoy could not bypass the channel with his attention. The well-known annual show "Song of the Year", produced by Krutoy's company ARS, is regularly broadcast on Channel One. The story of getting into the “Songs” clip, judging by the level of the performers, seems simple, like three kopecks - “Money in hand - there will be sounds.” It can be assumed that only the Primadonna does not pay for participation.

If on the First “fatherly” participation of Krutoy is limited only to “Song of the Year”, then on the main state channel of the country - RTR - all musical broadcasting falls under his influence. Anyone who has money can post their videos on programs such as Good Morning Country or Top Ten. One show of a music video in these programs will cost a novice singer from three and a half to four and a half thousand dollars.

Music on the TVC channel is controlled by Alena Apina's husband Alexander Iratov. The head of the music editorial office has a hard time - the low rating of the channel does not allow you to earn decent money from showing music videos. Decent record companies don't give their videos to a channel that few people watch. That's why they play all sorts of junk on TVC, for example, Julian or Shufutinsky. Sometimes the channel manages to exchange the display of clips of musical groups for their barter participation in the channel's promotions.

Last year, MTV said goodbye to Boris Zosimov's team, which in the last years of its work has become especially addicted to evaluating a musical product not only by its creative component. Then Ilya Bachurin was invited to MTV with ORT and the entire general staff of the music editorial office was changed. Now they don't take money on MTV. The channel really tries to take into account the tastes of the audience and put the music that the viewer wants to hear. Just the flourishing of some kind of democracy.

Many of those who "suffered" during the reconstruction of MTV went to seek their fortune on MuzTV. Under the guidance of the former producer of "Evil Spectators" Pyotr Sheksheev, the guys formed a kind of broadcasting network that looks like an average international MTV. I must say, unlike the new Russian MTV, this music promotional channel has weak concepts of format. The main criterion is money. On MuzTV, which is also under the control of ARS, one video rental is quite inexpensive - from 250 to 350 dollars. Also democracy.

On NTV, as well as on STS, there is no music as such. The appearance of artists in show programs is more verbal than musical.

On the long-suffering TVS channel, the nightly showing of music videos costs money. At a practically officially approved rate, anyone with a creative ambition can once place their masterpiece on the channel for 500 dollars. This is done by the Rice company, which is the permanent organizer of Invasion and Maxidrome.

Taking money from the gifted for showing them on TV is the official position of the channel. Those who like it, TVS will call and show it anyway. The appearance of groups and performers in such programs as "Earth-to-air" or "Ships came into our harbor" is an absolutely free pleasure for artists.

Channel "Culture" in the field of all its politics, including music, is an ideal channel. For a wonderful channel and a professional team, thanks to the general producer of the channel and the Minister of Culture Mikhail Shvydkoy. To be shown on Kultura, the highest quality music is selected, for the broadcast of which no money is taken from the artists.

All attempts by UHF channels TNT, REN TV and M 1 to make money on music look a little ridiculous. Mostly there are "spinning" either those performers who do not have enough money to pay on another channel, or those who were not taken for free on MTV. Outstanding representatives are Jasmine, the ANJ project and Anna Reznikova.

The box and its inhabitants are the best means of getting rid of complexes. You look at them - and it becomes easier. The thought that you are not like that (and therefore better) warms the soul.

Alas, until the true talents get rich, we will have to regularly watch how the wives and mistresses (lovers) of financially wealthy citizens publicly realize their artistic ambitions. And it’s good if a big bust or a beautiful butt makes up for the lack of a voice. Then, to cheer up, just turn off the sound.
