64 cargo cars got off the rails in Bashkiria

In the Davlestanovsky district of Bashkiria, 1532 km of the Republican Branch of the KBS on the Divlekanovo-Winkukul section, the cargo train number 2764, transporting iron ore, went into the rails.

According to Interfax in the Ministry of Emergencies of Bashkiria, the accident occurred late at night on Tuesday. Of the 67 wagons that are part, 25 fell to the side, 39 went off the rails, retaining vertical stability.

Currently, a group of emergency response of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Belarus and rescuers is currently working at the scene, railway repair teams are undergoing work to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

There are no victims as a result of the incident.

In the liquidation of the accident, 3 emergency trains are also involved. In total, 27 units of equipment and about 300 people participate in the liquidation of the accident. They carry out repair and restoration work, clean and restore routes.

According to RIA Novosti at the Bashkir Branch of the KBD, 5 passenger trains of long and local trains and 4 freight trains were stopped on Tuesday.

The full opening of trains on this site is expected on Tuesday no earlier than 17 hours. According to the administration of the Davlekanovo and Davlekanovsky district, local authorities are taking all measures in order to assist in providing passengers of stopped trains with food, water and everything necessary. According to the head of the city administration and the Zakira Bikbulatov district, special attention will be paid to children.

Specialists of the Department of the FSB of the Russian Federation for Bashkiria, who visited the scene, exclude the version of the attack. According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident is most likely technical. In particular, at the site of the emergency, a wheel with a chip was found.
